Networks

The International Chair of Social Responsibility promotes an International University Network called IRA (Responsible Investment in Agriculture), whose objective is to promote the Principles for Responsible Investment in Agriculture and Food Systems, approved by FAO in 2014. This network is composed of more than 40 universities from Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe, all committed to sustainability, food security and fair and inclusive rural development.

The network facilitates academic and scientific cooperation around sustainable agricultural practices and development models that integrate social, environmental and economic criteria. Through joint projects, training, applied research and alliances with responsible companies, this network seeks to generate a real impact in the territories, training a new generation of professionals committed to ethical and sustainable agriculture.

The International University Network of Happiness (RIUF) is an initiative of the University of Cadiz that seeks to promote the study and dissemination of happiness and well-being in academia. This network is composed of several universities and researchers who collaborate in research projects, publications and training activities related to happiness. Among its objectives are the creation of interdisciplinary research lines, the organization of international congresses on the subject and the transfer of knowledge to society to improve people's quality of life.

The Sustainability University Chairs Network (RCU-Sustainability) is a collaborative platform that brings together various university chairs and classrooms focused on sustainability. Coordinated by the University of Oviedo, this network aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices among the participating institutions. Its activities include the organization of meetings and conferences, such as the II Meeting of Chairs held on October 15, 2024 at the Botanical Garden of the University of Valencia, where issues related to climate change and sustainability were addressed.
