Business club
Leaders in Sustainability offers companies, organizations, and public administrations a structured set of services designed to promote responsible, innovative management aligned with current social, environmental, and economic challenges.
Among its main lines of action, it stands out for the regular distribution of a newsletter featuring strategic information on industry trends, best practices, funding opportunities, and calls for grants. Likewise, the Hub fosters spaces for learning and professional development through specialized conferences, webinars, and masterclasses on sustainability and social responsibility. These activities are complemented by high-level training programs, such as the DIRSE 2024–2025 Business Management Program, offered in both in-person (Madrid and Murcia) and online formats.
Scope of action at UCAM
The Hub is backed by the Universidad Católica de Murcia and utilizes key infrastructure such as UCAM HiTech and the Los Jerónimos and Cartagena campuses to conduct its activities. Furthermore, it benefits from UCAM’s extensive collaborative network with other research groups as well as national and international universities, fostering joint research projects, knowledge transfer, and continuous professional development.
Additionally, the Hub provides technical advisory services for integrating sustainability criteria into organizational management, facilitating compliance with current European and national regulations. In this regard, it develops research and innovation projects that include environmental footprint calculations, registration management for relevant official directories, and double materiality assessments to identify strategic topics across key stakeholder groups. It also drafts sustainability reports in accordance with international standards and collaborates with public administrations on initiatives of shared interest.
